About water quality, oxidation-reduction potential and the lemon water paradox.

Since there are more than enough questions about diluting Elixirs and using them, we are returning to this topic again. This time also through a video , in which we measured several values of various liquid samples, among other things. Let's take a quick look at what we measured.

What is ORP?

ORP, or oxidation-reduction potential, is a physical quantity whose unit of measurement is mV. Simply put: the lower the measured value, the stronger the substance is an antioxidant. The higher it is, the more it acts as an oxidant when in contact with other substances – causing their oxidation and damage. We process all MALINNA° products so that they act as strong antioxidants on the body. Thanks to our unique processing, the input raw materials become mixtures that have an unusually strong antioxidant potential. Whether we are talking about Elixirs or creams, serums and shampoos, we will always range from -170 mV to -220 mV.

What did we measure?

We prepared several liquid samples for testing: distilled water, tap water, tap water with lemon and espresso coffee. We measured ORP (mV), TDS (ppm) water pollution with various particles, and pH of liquids. Pollution expresses the presence of various other particles of organic and inorganic origin in molecular, ionized or microgranular (colloidal) form. The device does not measure the origin and suitability of these substances for the human body. PH is neutral at a value of 7, a lower value is acidic and a higher one is alkaline. Substances that increase the alkalinity of our internal environment are suitable for our body. The optimal ORP of a healthy organism should be around (-40)mV to (-140)mV.

The lemon water paradox.

All measurements are only indicative for us. What is always important is how the given liquids act in the human body. We prepare our products so that they also act as antioxidants in the body and leave an alkaline trace. However, let's look at lemon water, for example. According to the measured values, it should be unsuitable for the body. It has a high ORP (+ 234mV) and therefore should cause aging and oxidation of cells and acidify the body (pH 2.9). However, the opposite is true. Lemon water acts as an antioxidant in the body and leaves an alkaline trace in it.

Coffee (and other drinks) and Elixir Vanilla .

Elixir Vanilla not only alkalizes the body and acts as a powerful antioxidant, but is also a rich source of absorbable building minerals, phenols, vitamins and anti-inflammatory ingredients. All of these substances protect cells from damage and degeneration. They also ensure the regeneration of tissues, the skeletal system, cartilage, joints and teeth. As we have seen in the measurements, it is ideal to dilute Elixir with demineralized water, but it will have the same nutritional effect in combination with herbal teas (including honey). You can even add it to coffee. It itself is made from various nut oils and vanilla essence.
