Sauna with MALINNA

The winter months are a natural time for our body and mind to slow down. Just as nature hibernates, it is essential for us to allow ourselves to rest. Therefore, postpone goals, plans and resolutions for spring, when we feel completely unforced, full of energy and determination. Winter brings a lesson in surrendering to what our body really needs.

One of the tools that can help us in this is the sauna, which has many advantages for us, one of them is undoubtedly that it allows us to relax, focus on our body and calm our mind. Once you discover the beauty of sauna, it will easily become a ritual for you.

Advantages of regular sauna use

The heat of the sauna is a source of positive stress for the body, which serves as resistance training to other stressors, both external and internal. However, the benefits of regular sauna use, confirmed by many studies that dealt with sauna use, are really many and include, for example:

/ support of cardiovascular health
/ improvement of mental resistance to stress and anxiety
/ relief from chronic pain
/ immunity support
/ slowing down aging and extending healthspan (or the vitality of the organism, i.e. the length of life we live in full health)

Sauna and detoxification

The sauna is a great way to naturally support the detoxification of the body, thanks to increased sweating. Through sweat, we are able to eliminate heavy metals, BPA (toxic substances that are part of plastics) and also some of the chemical fertilizers from the body.

Important for supporting the detoxification process is preventing toxic substances from being reabsorbed, so treat yourself with an increased amount of vitamin C before and after the sauna. The more time spent in the sauna, the more benefits. It is therefore ideal to repeat at least 3 rounds in the sauna and 3 rounds of rest. Rest for the same amount of time as you took the sauna.

A cold shower or cooling the body in an ice pool is not a condition for the detoxifying effects of the sauna. But a cold bath definitely has its advantages, such as the support of cardiovascular health, immunity and also the improvement of resistance to stress.

Skin in the sauna and Body Serum

The essence of the body serum is a high concentration of absorbable nutrients that can penetrate deep into the skin. It is rich in anti-inflammatory substances, maintains a healthy microbiome on the skin and helps detoxification.

The most effective way to use Body Sera is in the sauna, when the pores of the skin are open. Before entering the sauna, take a shower and apply a small amount of Body Sera to damp skin. After exiting the sauna, take a shower, then you can complete your stay in the cooling pool. You can repeat the treatment with Body Ser.

Tips

/ In the sauna and wellness centers, we recommend using Skin Toner to protect and disinfect the feet. In the same way, you can use Skin Toner on the skin of the body after sanitizing instead of body milk or before its application.

/ During and after the sauna, it is important to replenish lost minerals, so take water with Elixir Vanilla or Rosemary with you.

/ Never go to the sauna when you are sick and do not expose your weakened body to additional stress. However, if you are only suffering from a mild respiratory infection or a cold without other symptoms, the sauna can help you relax your airways and speed up your recovery.
