There are many ways to dilute and use MALINNA° concentrate. Gradually, you will learn how to work with the concentrate and handle it effectively. What is important is its interaction with water and the creation of foam that binds dirt, grease and impurities.
Cleaning Concentrate or its lower dilution of 1:1 is recommended for very dirty surfaces, whether microbially contaminated or oily. It has an antimicrobial effect up to a dilution of 1:100. The great thing about Cleaning Concentrate is that it saves you space and replaces almost all cleaning products in your home.
Cleaning Spray is a diluted concentrate in a ratio of 1:7. It is suitable for regular daily maintenance of surfaces. It is up to you what dilution you create from the concentrate at home. The line on the side of the bottle will help you with this, which is indicative.
How to dilute the concentrate?
Especially at higher dilutions, we recommend using technical distilled water or soft filtered water. Some minerals in hard water can react with the product and reduce its quality and effectiveness at high dilutions. Cleaning Concentrate can be used on any type of material that you want to remove organic contamination (fat, grease, protein contamination - bacteria, mites and other microbes, blood, food residues, etc.), but also other types of damage and contamination of the material (oxidized metal, partly also limescale).
The individual dilutions listed represent the ratio of the concentrate and water used. For example, for a dilution of 1:7, add 1 part concentrate and 7 parts water.
Hand washing dishes:
(dilution 1:1 – 1:3): Drop the diluted concentrate onto a damp sponge and create foam. Use the active foam to wash dishes and dirty surfaces.
(dilution 1:4): Dilute the concentrate in a bottle of Cleansing Foam according to the instructions and use the resulting foam.
(dilution 1:5-1:10): Dilute the concentrate in a spray bottle and use to wash dishes and other objects.
Sanitary ware, various surfaces in the kitchen, bathroom, furniture:
(dilution 1:5 – 1:10): Dilute the product in a spray bottle, spray on the surface, wash in circular motions with a sponge or cloth, rinse with water and remove. Leave to act for a few minutes for microbial protection.
Washing windows and mirrors:
(dilution 1:20-1:50): Dilute the product in a spray bottle, spray on the surface, wash with a cloth. Then rinse with clean water and polish with a paper towel.
Floor cleaning (wooden floors, polished floors, tiles, etc.):
(dilution 1:100): Pour a little concentrate into a bucket, ideally with soft water, in approximately the given ratio, depending on the soiling of the floor.
Washing :
(dilution 1:1): Prepare the laundry concentrate in an empty bottle in a ratio of 1:1. For one regular wash, use 0.5 dl of the prepared product. We recommend that you moisten heavy stains with water immediately after they become dirty, add a drop of the product and clean. We recommend that you soak soiled diapers or other heavily soiled laundry that you do not plan to wash immediately and pour an appropriate amount of the product into the water.
Washing pet beds, bowls, etc.:
(dilution 1:5-1:10): Dilute the concentrate in a spray bottle, spray the area and wash.
Washing outdoor sports equipment:
(dilution 1:5-1:10): Dilute the concentrate in a spray bottle, spray the area and wash with a brush (bicycle chains and other heavily soiled areas.
Protection of bed mattresses and couches:
(dilution 1:5-1:10): Dilute the concentrate in a spray bottle, lightly spray the surface and let dry.
As part of sustainability, it is an excellent solution to use other empty bottles from other MALINNA° products:
Body Serum with pump: Dilute the concentrate in a ratio of 1:1 - 1:2 with distilled water and you will get a strong product with practical dosage, for example for washing dishes.
Skin Toner: Dilute the product 1:2-1:5 with distilled water in an empty Skin Toner container and get a practical spray that you can use to wash objects or surfaces while traveling when water and disinfectant are not at hand (toilet seats, fruit - spray and wipe with a paper towel and you can eat it, baby changing counters at gas stations, cutlery - proceed as with fruit).
Cleansing Foam : Follow the instructions on the bottle, pour Cleaning Concentrate into the container instead of Skin Sera and dilute with distilled water. You can use the foam for hand washing dishes or cleaning other surfaces in the home.
